Creative Director & Founder CEO

Multi-award winning designer and director of the FRAMED series. Having achieved critical and commercial success internationally after co-founding Loveshack, Josh has returned to home waters in order to fulfill an ambition he has held since childhood: to build the most innovative game studio in New Zealand.

Emre Can Deniz

Studio/Dev Director & COO

Founder of the multi-award winning studio Opaque Space and the acclaimed Earthlight series. Emre was responsible for designing and developing games used by NASA and Boeing for training astronauts, and in 2017 he was awarded the Studio and Game of the Year by the Australian games industry, among several international business and simulation awards.

Cindy Miller

Senior Game Designer

Cindy is a Senior Game Designer who has worked on games such as Disney Infinity, Avengers Initiative, and We Are Chicago. She has volunteered as a mentor, and co-founded Voxelles in Chicago.

Jordan Ewen

Technical Lead

Jordan Ewen joins us as our new Technical Lead, previously having worked with Magic Leap, Aurora44 and PikPok across a huge range of projects.

Aimee Cairns

Senior Concept & 2D Artist

Aimee is a Senior Concept Artist from Upper Hutt, New Zealand. She worked on the mobile title BloonsTD6 as Art Lead, and is known for her personal work on under the pseudonym Tokenin.

Claire Barilla

Associate Producer

Claire is a Producer from Wellington, New Zealand. She has previously worked for studios like Loveshack, PikPok and Wrestler, as well as managing Play by Play Conference for NZ Games Festival 2019. She is an award-winning game developer, identified as one of Develop Pacific's 30 Under 30 and a proprietor of quality doggo gifs.

Anni Bevan

3D Character Artist

Anni is an award-winning game developer originally from Wellington, she has returned home to be the Character Artist at Mayday. She previously co-created the often-nominated game Robin, and worked on BloonsTD6 as a 3D artist.

Zala Habib

Game Designer

Zala Habib is a Game Designer based in Wellington, New Zealand. She has worked on many solo and team projects and showcased her games around the country at conventions, conferences and exhibitions. Receiving the IGDA Velocity Scholarship in 2019, she is also a strong advocate for diversity in games; organizing events and talks based around these subjects.

Gameplay Programmer

Francis is a passionate Cantabrian and Software Engineer who has worked for studios around New Zealand. In 2017 he co-founded Little Lost Fox where he worked as a gameplay programmer and designer while they built their award-winning game Valleys Between.

Guilherme Martins

Game and Cinematic Animator

Gui is an animator from Lisbon, Portugal who has spent the last 2 years in Scotland working at Axis Animation and Build A Rocket Boy studios. He has contributed to projects such as League of Legends: Project Hunters, Destiny 2: Curse of Osiris and Netflix series Kiss Me First. Gui is also part of the team behind Trojan Horse was a Unicorn (THU) a unique, annual event for digital artists.

Will is a generalist engineer who has worked across a wide breadth of technologies and contexts. He's previously worked as an engineer in the aerospace, neuroscience, construction, health, film, education, AI and games industries
